The World Street Food Congress 2017 is back in Manila, and promises to be bigger and better than the last. This year’s location is the Concert Venue at MOA (SM Mall of Asia).
The JAMBOREE will feature up to 30 stalls plus pop- up booths from cities from around the world, while the DIALOGUE portion will enter around the theme “Reimagine Possibilities.” What does the future of the world’s most popular food culture hold for tomorrow? Can a street food vendor or hawker win an international or Michelin award? How does a One-Dish-Entrepreneur operate? Or, what are the new opportunities for simple ‘mom-n-pop’ food businesses like for tomorrow or even now? All these and more will be discussed at the World Street Food Dialogue in a custom- built conference tent on location.
To top it all of, guests will be treated to music and food demos by celebrity chefs. Keep an eye out for WSFC Founder KF Seethoh, Chef Malcolm Lee of the Michelin-starred Candlenut restaurant, Anthony Bourdain, and local celebrity chefs such as Chef Sau Del Rosario, Chef JP Anglo, and more.
